Health Screener Industry: Healthcare / Plasma Donation About the Role As a Health Screener at BioLife Plasma Services, you will support plasma center operations by screening donors, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring donor safety. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and be an integral part of providing high-quality plasma for life-saving medicines. Key Responsibilities Greet and interact with donors while ensuring their safety. Screen new and repeat donors; take and record vital signs and finger stick results. Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvements and support process changes following company procedures. Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 32 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs). Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing sufficient to operate equipment. Comfortable wearing gloves for prolonged periods due to bloodborne pathogen exposure. Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer or patient-facing role preferred. What BioLife Offers Hourly wage: $16.00/hr (starting rate; eligible for local minimum wage adjustments).
