Interventional Radiology Opportunity in Southwest Georgia Bring your interventional expertise to a respected regional referral center expanding its IR services with cutting-edge technology and procedural autonomy. Subspecialty skills, including Y-90, TACE, and advanced embolization, are welcomed and encouraged. Practice Overview You ll join 2 full-time IR physicians (expanding to 4) supported by dedicated IR techs, RNs, and radiology assistants Full-spectrum IR including nephrostomies, biliary drains, TACE, Y-90, vertebroplasty, and trauma embolizations Light diagnostic reads available and customizable based on your interests New Angio suite with cone beam CT and enterprise-wide imaging upgrades Compensation Benefits $670,100 base salary (includes contracted call) - total earning potential is uncapped! Total of 212 contracted shifts per year $75,000 sign-on bonus + up to $15,000 relocation assistance - 3yr contract RVU-based bonus potential with income exceeding $800K Additional call: $892.86/day (beyond contract), Additional day shifts are $325/hour (weekdays), $3,000/day (weekends) $9,000 annual CME + full benefits including malpractice with tail, 401(k), and on-site perks (gym, childcare) Schedule 3 weeks on / 1 week off model provides built-in lifestyle flexibility (equivalent to 12 weeks PTO annually) On-service weeks are Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 56 call days per year included ($50k) (Monday Monday rotation); additional call is optional and well-compensated at $892.86/day Candidate Requirements Fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible Comfortable with general IR and enthusiastic about growing subspecialty procedures Ideal for physicians who value autonomy, collaboration, and growth Community Location Highlights Albany metro area with ~150,000 residents and cost of living 21% below national average Outdoor lifestyle with kayaking, fishing, hunting, and trails along the Flint River Excellent local schools and convenient access to Tallahassee, Atlanta, and Gulf Coast beaches Regional airport just 10 minutes from hospital with direct flights to Atlanta Driving distance from major metro cities and 2.5 hours from the Florida beaches!
