DUTIES:

  • Assisting patients in applying for Medical Assistance and possible other hospital state or federal programs, when applicable.
  • Interviewing patients in a hospital or office setting to complete necessary forms.
  • Verifying health insurances.
  • Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and federal/state offices for additional information as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Train in our Allentown, PA office Monday- Friday 8:00am to 4:30 PM for 8 - 12 weeks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Must have customer service skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask in a fast pace environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet weekly and monthly productivity goals
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to learn and work with multi-State Medicaid eligibility regulations (previous Medicaid experience a plus)
  • Work schedule: Monday- Friday 7:300am to 4:00pm


Compensation details: 20-20 Hourly Wage
