Host at Manong

Job Duties

1. Maintain a warm & welcome at the Host Stand: greeting guests and bidding them farewell, answering the phone, etc
2. Control restaurant flow by managing incoming reservations & waitlist through OpenTable following our operating standards
3. Have a clear understanding of all restaurant items demonstrate willingness to assist with any questions
4. Maintain a clean working environment at the front of the restaurant, bottle shop, and bathrooms
5. Assist with turning tables by cleaning them after guests have departed.

Expectations & Physical Demands

1. Attend scheduled shifts on time and in accordance with dress code and appearance guidelines
2. Fair notice of availability changes and time off requests 
3. Strong knowledge of products sold in retail bottle shop   
4. This position will require the employee to periodically lift, push, pull or carry items up to 50 lbs in weight (outdoor furniture, assisting with deliveries, etc)
5. This position requires the employee to stand for extended periods of time 
6. This position will require the employee to periodically climb stairs, ramps or uneven surfaces.
