We are seeking a reliable Host/Hostess with a desire to grow and learn to join our dining team of EMPLOYEE OWNERS at our client site, a premier senior living community on Hilton Head Island! As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Duties:

- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they arrive and depart

- Manage seating arrangements efficiently

-Possesses strong product and menu knowledge

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining room

- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

- Answering phones and placing Take Out Orders

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

- Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times

- Willingness to assist other team members without being asked

Skills:

- Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment

- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling food orders

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations

- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting

- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude

- Knowledge of food service procedures and basic understanding of POS systems

- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
