Job Summary:


We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer service-oriented Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a critical role in delivering a memorable guest experience by providing efficient check-in/check-out services, addressing inquiries, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

We are not considering any candidates who are not able to work on weekends or holidays.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and courteous manner

  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately

  • Manage room reservations through phone, email, and third-party platforms

  • Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions

  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly

  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and process payments

  • Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to fulfill guest needs

  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in hospitality or related field preferred

  • Previous customer service or hotel front desk experience is a plus

  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, HotelKey, or similar) is an advantage

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Working Conditions:


  • Standing for extended periods

  • May be required to lift or carry light items (e.g., luggage, packages)

  • Fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Hotel experience is required for this position. At this time, we are not considering any candidates who are not able to work on weekends or holidays.

Job Type: Part-time & Full-Time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

  • Forest Hill, TX 76140: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Hotel experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
