Employee Engagement, Training & Events
- Support the HR Generalist in developing and implementing programs that enhance employee engagement and morale (e.g., surveys, recognition programs).
- Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, materials preparation, communication with participants, and tracking completion.
- Plan and execute company events such as recognition ceremonies, holiday celebrations, and team-building activities.
- Serve as a liaison between Operations and Management, promoting effective communication and addressing employee concerns promptly.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment logistics for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings and applicant tracking.
- Conduct initial pre-screening of candidates and schedule interviews.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with EEO/AA reporting.
- Support onboarding and New Employee Orientation (NEO) for new hires.
- Maintain confidential personnel files (active and inactive) in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
- Record meeting minutes and follow up on HR-related action items.
- Provide administrative support for benefits, safety, and compliance programs.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with databases or HRIS systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- 6–12 months of administrative or HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, etc.).
