Location: Pittsfield, MA
Start Date: 12/1/2025
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 40 hours/week)
Weekend/On-Call: None
Position Overview
The HR Shared Services Representative provides high-quality customer service and administrative support within the HR Shared Services team. This role is responsible for responding to employee and manager inquiries, supporting HR self-service tools, and delivering accurate information on HR policies, programs, and processes. The representative will work closely with HR Business Partners, internal stakeholders, and external vendors while maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as first-line support for employee and manager HR inquiries.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, programs, and self-service tools.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with timely and accurate responses.
- Provide administrative support to HR Business Partners.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Manage multiple tasks with strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Perform administrative duties including answering phones, maintaining logs, managing files, and compiling data.
- Support and utilize HRIS systems; maximize efficiencies through technology.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
- Adapt to evolving processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of office experience in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong customer service, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience with HRIS systems strongly preferred.
- Associate degree in Business or related field OR equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- HR certifications (CCP, CEBS, SHRM, HRCI, Project Management, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Must include permanent address in submission profile.
- Must have personal vehicle.
- All RTO/ scheduling requests must be disclosed at time of submission—no exceptions.
Holiday Requirement
Travelers must commit to working one of the following holiday blocks:
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day + following Friday/weekend
- New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day + following Friday/weekend
Note: Contracts ending in November or before December holidays will not be extended into early 2026.
