We are seeking a skilled *HVAC Service Technician* to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background of *3+ years in HVAC* systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
*Duties*:
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals on commercial and industrial equipment
* Repair heating and air conditioning systems
* Test systems to ensure proper operation
* Be familiar with various types of HVAC systems
* Be willing to assist with performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
* Conduct field service calls to assess customer needs and provide solutions
* Repair or replace defective components using hand tools and power tools
* Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete projects effectively
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
* Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site and ensure compliance with local codes
*Requirements*:
* Proven experience as an HVAC technician, specifically in a commercial and/or industrial setting
* Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and refrigeration
* Familiarity with HVAC design principles and the ability to read schematics
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting
* Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
