Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule HVAC projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, including personnel and equipment, to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular safety training for staff.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards in service delivery and installation processes.
  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop HVAC technicians and project managers, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Monitor departmental budgets and financial performance, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for equipment and services.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the HVAC industry. Run operations for a $7M HVAC company with a strong mix of service/replacement and residential new construction. Drive both divisions to scale toward $30M, sharpen performance, and create your team. Big runway, major impactbe the catalyst for growth.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation processes is essential. Geothermal experience is a plus!
  • Proficient in using HVAC software such as Service Titan.

Skills

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills are necessary, along with proficiency in project management software.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining client relationships.
