Location: Multiple locations in California - Hybrid Working About the Role: We are seeking an accomplished Hydraulics & Hydrology Team Leader to guide a team of engineers and technical specialists in delivering innovative water resources solutions across California and nationally. This role is ideal for an industry professional passionate about technical excellence, business development, strategic planning, client relationship building, and mentoring engineers. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, including flood modelling, stormwater management, watershed planning, and hydraulic infrastructure design. What You’ll Do: Lead teams on diverse infrastructure and water resources projects. Oversee technical design, modelling, and analysis for floodplain mapping, drainage systems, stormwater facilities, and river/coastal projects. Manage client relationships, proposals, and project delivery. Support business development and strategic initiatives. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (or related field). Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months. Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects. Strong technical skills in hydraulic modelling and water resources design.
