Job Description
A company is looking for a Structural Project Engineer to work on complex projects in their Chicago, IL office.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review structural and geometric calculations for bridge rehabilitation and design projectsPrepare and review finite element analysis models and bridge load rating reports to DOT standardsCoordinate tasks with the Project/Technical Manager and ensure independent QC reviews on design calculation files and plansRequired QualificationsB.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required; MS preferredPE License preferred; SE License in Illinois or plan to obtain requiredMinimum of 5 years of bridge inspection, analysis, load rating, and/or design experienceExperience with IDOT, CDOT, ISTHA, and/or Chicagoland local agencies preferredCompletion of relevant FHWA-NHI courses is preferred but not required
