GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Terra Labor is seeking for an In-House immigration attorneys in Houston, Texas. Must be interested in working on immigration law cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and establish a case strategy.
- Draft and file petitions/applications.
- Communicate with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues.
- Update and manage status reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree
- Doctor of Jurisprudence
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
- 1 year of immigration experience prefered
- Possess a thorough understanding of H1B, H2B, EB3, and TN visas, PERMS, immigrant visa petitions, family based and consular processing prefered
- Must be proficient in legal research, word processing, and document databases.
- Be able to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues.
- Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish

- Strong proficiency with a legal software.
