About the Opportunity:

A leading food manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join its 2nd shift maintenance team. This role is key to ensuring reliable operation of high-speed production equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment. Shift:

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and packaging machinery.

  • Diagnose and repair issues involving PLCs, motors, VFDs, relays, sensors, and control systems.

  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

  • Ensure all electrical work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the CMMS system.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment (food or packaging preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of PLC logic, control circuits, and instrumentation.

  • Experience with 480V 3-phase systems, low-voltage controls, and automation equipment.

  • Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues.

  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA safety standards.

  • Technical certification, journeyman’s license, or related trade schooling is a plus.
