Industrial Electrician – Goshen, IN

We’re hiring! Zing Recruiting is proud to partner with our client in the Goshen, IN area to fill an exciting Industrial Electrician opportunity. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ensuring that plant equipment and systems run safely and efficiently. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems for all plant equipment and facility support processes. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting production operations.

Position Details:

• Shift: 1st
• Pay: $32-35/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely and follow plant safety procedures.
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems, components, and equipment for hazards, defects, or code compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on injection molding machines and facility equipment.
• Assist in the design and installation of new electrical systems throughout the facility.
• Test circuits and systems using electrical diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, or oscilloscopes.
• Repair or replace auxiliary plant equipment and maintain equipment at various heights using fall protection.
• Prioritize workload for maximum efficiency and uptime.
• Train and direct team members on electrical installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain detailed work records, sketches, and cost estimates.
• Support general maintenance and housekeeping initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required / 2-year technical degree or equivalent training preferred
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming, analog and digital systems.
• Knowledge of 3-phase power systems, motors, breakers, starters, and relays.
• Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and analytical thinking.
• Proven troubleshooting and time management skills.
