Industrial Field Service Technician at PCR Staffing

Manufacturing company is seeking a Field Service Specialist to service new and existing equipment. This includes equipment installation and maintenance in our Hot Melt line of business. This position will work out of the Charlotte, NC area. Bilingual skills strongly preferred This is a direct hire position with a salary between $70,000 - $75,000 with benefits based in Charlotte NC. This position does require frequent travel and a company car is provided and all travel expenses are covered. Weekend hours are paid in addition to Salary Job Responsibilities · Installation of new equipment. · Service/ maintenance of customer equipment on site · Repair equipment in our workshop · Serve as an onsite manager representing the company during the installation. · Supervise and advise skilled tradesmen to construct and install all company supplied equipment. · Communicate and resolve issues to ensure successful sign off with customer is reached. · Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers. · Position requires mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge and engineering skills to perform necessary service and instruct others on maintaining equipment. · Perform system audits of company and equipment. · Maintain detailed knowledge of company products and policies and follows procedures. · Perform other duties as assigned. · Meet KPI’s provided Education and Experience Requirements Must have Associate degree or two-year technical certificate, or 3-5 years’ experience in lieu of degree/certificate. · 5+ years successful experience in industrial service or equipment installation is required. · 3+ years Field engineering experience · Very good Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills required. · Ability to read electrical schematics. · Experience with pneumatics is also an advantage. · Management/ supervisor experience would also be an advantage. Skills and Abilities · Detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong communication skills · Proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic environment. · Experience with hot melt adhesives is preferred. · Bilingual skills highly preferred Ability to travel, including overnight stays and weekend working as required. · Demonstrated ability to learn. · Must be flexible · Organizational skills · Able to work well in a team or solo. · Experience Working Conditions and Physical Demands This is an outside field environment. · To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · Travel Required - Estimated 75-85% Package $70,000 - $75,000 per annum Overtime for weekend work 401k noncontributory at this stage.
