St. Josephs Health in Syracuse, New York, a proud member of Trinity Health, is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified Infectious Disease Physician to join our respected and established ID program. You'll be part of Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation. St. Josephs Health is a 451-bed community hospital committed to delivering top-quality care to Central New York. The providers manage complicated diseases with compassion and clinical expertise and specialize in the treatment of HIV/AIDS, chronic and/or acute bacterial infections, and a wide range of unusual and complicated infections. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for ID physicians who are passionate about specialized care, team collaboration, and serving a diverse adult patient population. The role is based at St. Josephs Hospital and its on-campus outpatient clinic. Opportunity Highlights: Dynamic Team: Join a dedicated group of three full-time Providers Integrated Care Setting: Practice at both the hospital and clinic located on the same campus which streamlines patient care and Provider collaboration. Treat a wide range of adult infectious disease cases including: HIV/ AIDS Multi-drug resistant UTIs Chronic Infections Osteomyelitis Diabetic foot ulcers Sexual assault cases Antibiotic therapy patients PICC Line Routine Maintenance (not insertion) Schedule Structure: Outpatient/ Clinic Schedule (4-months per year): Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm Inpatient/ Hospital Service (8-months per year): 7-days on, 7-days off; 7am-7pm Outpatient Call Coverage: 24/7 Nurse Triage Support Inpatient Call Coverage: Shared rotational call amongst Physicians Requirements: Board Certification in Internal Medicine Successful completion of ACGME Infectious Disease fellowship Minimum of 2-years post-training experience Experience with HIV-patient population and management of care Compensation and Benefits: Starting Compensation: $230,000 - $250,000 (excluding bonuses and incentives) Incentives: wRVU-based bonus + up to $10,000 in quality performance incentives Starting Bonus: $25,000 Relocation Assistance eligible Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance Paid malpractice with post-employment tail coverage Retirement savings program with employer matching CME: Time and expense allowance annually Paid Time Off
