Marine Travelift is a growing Wisconsin-based manufacturer of customized boat handling systems that include boat hoists, marine forklifts, and hydraulic transporters. Marine Travelift has been manufacturing mobile boat hoists since 1954, and our equipment is utilized across the globe with over 5,000 units in service to help marinas handle boats of all sizes. We are the world leader in customized boat handling systems and our products back that up.

Marine Travelift is also the parent company to Shuttlelift, an expansive line of industrial, rubber tire gantry cranes used in a variety of lifting applications and industries. Our gantry cranes are used globally and offer lifting solutions capacities of 25 - 1000 metric tons and greater.

What are we looking for?

Marine Travelift’s Sturgeon Bay, WI operations is excited to be adding an Inside Sales – Crane Parts position to our Parts & CustomerCare team. The CustomerCare team is responsible for providing parts & service for domestic and international customers and distributors. This position is typically 40-45 hours/week role. Qualified candidates should have experience in sales and customer support together. Having a mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Working in Inside Sales - Crane Parts, you will…

  • Assist customers in solving their parts needs to ensure effective operation of their Marine Travelift and Shuttlelift brand equipment.
  • Process parts orders received from customers via web site, e-mail, and phone
  • Fulfill customer requests for parts and service quotes & coordinate delivery to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Develop inside parts sales and follow up on quotations previously submitted
  • Obtain updated pricing and lead times from suppliers to ensure accurate and on-time delivery
  • All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

We are looking for you to have…

  • An associate’s degree in business (or related field) or equivalent work experience required
  • Previous machinery sales experience is a plus
  • Technical knowledge about machinery is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills with ability to multitask
