Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative will play a vital role in growing CamaPlans client base by engaging prospects, educating them on self-directed retirement account options, and guiding them through the account opening process. This role is focused on inbound and outbound lead conversion, relationship-building, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively follow up with leads from webinars, events, referrals, and digital campaigns.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-up sequences to nurture prospects and convert them into clients.
  • Explain the benefits of Self-Directed IRAs and CamaPlans custodial services in a clear, compliant, and customer-focused manner.
  • Qualify prospects and identify their investment interests (real estate, notes, precious metals, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine lead generation campaigns and provide feedback on messaging.
  • Track and manage all interactions in CRM (Salesforce).
    Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals for new accounts opened.
  • Assist clients in completing applications and onboarding documentation.
  • Build relationships with referral partners (real estate companies, CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors, etc.) to drive pipeline growth.
  • Stay up to date on SDIRA industry trends, IRS rules, and CamaPlans offerings to effectively educate prospects.
Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience (inside sales, account executive, or similar role).
  • Financial services, retirement accounts, or investment background strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (phone, email, and virtual).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of leads.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Tech-savvy with CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of SDIRAs, real estate investing, or alternative assets is a plus (training provided).
