Position: Inside Sales Representative
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
Duke Rentals is seeking a motivated and dependable Inside Sales Representative for our Cedar Rapids, IA location. This individual should be eager to learn all aspects of the role and have a background in truck dispatching, heavy equipment, or similar industries. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and make inbound/outbound customer calls

• Dispatch trucks for equipment delivery and pickup

• Dispatch service mechanics and tire repair as needed

• Order parts for equipment maintenance and repairs

• Issue and enter purchase orders into the tracking system

• Enter rental contracts into Rental Man system

• Actively locate and source equipment to fulfill customer orders

• Schedule truck and equipment maintenance or repairs

• Assist with order intake in the absence of a Sales Representative

• Collect and summarize employee time for payroll

• Forward office phone to cell and be available after hours, as needed

• Perform additional duties to support daily branch operations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in dispatching and heavy equipment industries preferred

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Texada is a plus

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Flexible schedule with availability to work varied hours when necessary

• Team-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and leadership

• CDL license is a plus

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
