Overview
The Inside Sales Representative will follow up with customers by phone, email, or other methods to answer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service by contacting existing customers to follow up on placed orders.
- Manage customer payments.
- Track customer contacts and be able to reference at a later date.
- Process orders, forms, and requests.
- Work with colleagues, when necessary, to resolve customer complaints.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of sales/customer service experience.
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) required. Bilingual in English preferred.
Competencies
- Solid understanding of phone and email etiquette and customer service practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret complex figures and text.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Advanced skills in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
The work environment for the position includes enclosed offices.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of the position include walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods, on a regular basis; ability to speak, hear, and understand speech; entering text or data via keyboard into a computer.
