The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing sales process coordination and support to the Sales team and Sales Leadership, with the goal of enabling sales growth/revenue by driving efficiencies through effective sales process administration.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Serve as the Customer Relationship Management (CRM - Acumatica) system coordinator, responsible for updating and creating CRM information for the accounts they work on.
  • At the direction of an Account Executive, manage activities of a project lifecycle administratively within Acumatica, including:
    1. Enter materials into Project Quotes
    2. Assist with Change orders for Existing Projects
    3. Create new Sales Orders
    4. All other tasks within Acumatica to support the successful management of projects accordingly
  • Partner with Distributors/Manufacturing partners in building relationships and obtaining material quotes
  • Communicate proactively with Distributors and Account Executives so that all stakeholders can manage expectations on material timelines and their impact to project timelines and deliverables
  • Partner with stakeholders – Warehouse team, Account Exec and Distribution vendors – when there are issues around materials/parts that are ordered (part missing, part #/description do not match, incorrect part, etc.)
  • Assist Account Executives with presentation development for respective clients
  • Keep abreast of product offerings and industry related product and sales trends
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technological aptitude and savviness
  • Self-motivated and possesses a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to analyze information/data and use creative problem solving
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline oriented and fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word), CRM system experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great team player and collaborator
