Overview

Now Hiring! Inside Sales Associate
Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: 55K - 62k plus commision plan

Expansa is a premium provider of turnkey water treatment solutions.

POSITION SUMMARY: We’re not looking for someone from a Fortune 500 giant. We want a hungry, early-career salesperson who has cut their teeth in a smaller, scrappy environment and is ready to step up into closing deals at a founder-led industrial business

BENEFITS:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • 401K with Company match
  • Paid Time Off

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support in an industrial or B2B environment
  • Skilled in preparing and sending quotes, proposals, and rental agreements quickly and accurately
  • Strong phone and email communication skills; comfortable interacting with plant managers, engineers, and procurement contacts
  • Ability to triage inbound inquiries (decide what goes to BD Rep, what can be handled directly)
  • Familiarity with managing order intake forms, contracts, and documentation
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Comfortable maintaining a CRM system (Pipeddrive, HubSpot, etc.) with clean data, accurate pipeline updates, and quote tracking
  • Able to manage multiple requests simultaneously while keeping timelines tight
  • Experience coordinating across departments (sales, operations, billing) to make sure commitments are followed through
  • Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets to generate quotes, cost calculations, and freight estimates
  • Quick learner of technical products/services (DI trailers, regen services, RO rentals, consumables) — can confidently speak to customers at a basic level
  • Understanding of industrial purchasing processes (POs, MSAs, credit applications, net terms) a plus
  • Service-first mentality: sees their role as enabling the sales team and making the customer experience smooth
  • Accountable and reliable — thrives on being the person sales and operations can count on for accuracy and follow-through
  • Team player who partners closely with BD Rep and President but is self-directed enough to own routine tasks
  • Comfortable in a smaller company environment — able to wear multiple hats and adapt as processes evolve

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Prior experience in industrial rentals, water treatment, chemicals, or equipment services preferred
  • 2–4 years in a customer-facing support role with proven ability to manage high-volume requests
