General Description
Teaching location and hours are subject to change during employment with WCJC to meet department/division needs to ensure student success. Pay for this position is based on a 9 month contract working fall and spring semesters. Start date for this position is August 2026. Candidate selected will be responsible for teaching online, in person, and dual credit classes.
Salary Range: 0 to 10 years' Experience
Up to a Masters: $49,550 to $54,550
Doctorate: $56,050 to $61,050
The maximum number of years of experience an employee may receive is ten years.
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements
This position requires a master's degree (in History or other discipline) and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in history from a regionally accredited institution. A criminal background check is also required.
