Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

The University of California, San Francisco seeks a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with microvascular training to join a distinguished and expanding academic practice. The division’s scope includes microvascular head and neck reconstruction, facial paralysis treatment, Mohs reconstruction, cosmetic facial surgery/rhinoplasty, and gender-affirming procedures. The successful candidate will join two experienced surgeons in a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment, contribute to oncologic care through the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Bakar Cancer Hospital, and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching residents and fellows. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are strongly supported and encouraged.

Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency.
  • Completion of Fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery by start date.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
  • Must have a California Medical License by start date.
  • Applicant’s materials must list pending qualifications upon submission.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the [health sciences compensation plan](https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
