Job Summary:
Lays out, installs, maintains, and repairs all types of tubing, fittings, and fixtures in plant maintenance and construction. Interprets drawings and sketches. Plans details of working procedure and selects materials in accordance with the needs of the work to be done.
SCHEDULE: 4 - 10's (Monday-Thursday) Occasional OT
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lays out work; calculates dimensions and radii of bends; makes sketches of tubing.
 - Build a spreadsheet for bends and gang runs, set up and operate bending, threading, and cutoff equipment, use hand tools, and prepare and fabricate tubing.
 - Tests, inspects, dismantles, repairs, replaces, or installs any type of high or low-pressure tubing, fittings, fixtures, and parts for installation, maintenance, and repair.
 - Sets up tube for orbital welding.
 - Fabricates hangers and supports.
 - Fabricate and assemble pumps, skids, PVC, PVDF(Kynar Tubing), and Plastic Tubing
 - Handles or makes provisions for handling materials, equipment, and tools to and from the job site in connection with the work.
 - Cleans all work areas
 - Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
 - Performs all work safely and efficiently and keeps work area clean and orderly.
 - Willing to work with the electrical crew and other trades as job requires.
 
Minimum Requirements:
- Safety First mindset and culture
 - 2 - 3 years of work experience as an industrial tube-bender / Instrument Fitter or has completed a curriculum closely related to tube-bender / Instrument Fitter work from a vocational institution.
 
Preferred Requirements:
- You must be drug-free - Able to pass a hair follicle
 - High School Diploma or GED
 - Proof of US Citizenship or a valid work permit is required
 - Current driver's license and proof of insurability
 
Compensation and Benefits:
Wingo Service offers a competitive compensation package. This position supports 40 hours per week with compensation between $30-$40/hr based on experience.
