Insurance Defense Attorney - Solon, OH
A well-established Northeast Ohio law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Solon office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing insurers, municipalities, and private clients in civil litigation and insurance defense matters. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of experienced litigators at a firm known for its strong defense practice and long-standing client relationships.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
 - Admission to the Ohio Bar in good standing
 - 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, municipal liability, or civil litigation
 - Strong understanding of Ohio civil procedure and litigation practices
 - Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
 - Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
 - Strong communication and client service skills
 - Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances preferred
 
Responsibilities
- Represent insurers, municipalities, and private entities in a variety of civil defense and insurance litigation matters
 - Handle all phases of litigation from case inception through trial or settlement
 - Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and draft motions and pleadings
 - Develop case strategies and evaluate exposure in collaboration with clients and insurers
 - Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as necessary
 - Maintain effective communication with clients, claims representatives, and opposing counsel
 
Work closely with firm partners and associates to deliver high-quality legal representation
