Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an Attorney with 1- 5 years of experience in Defense Base Act, insurance defense, or workers' compensation to join our dynamic legal team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a diverse caseload and be eager to work alongside a supervising shareholder on a variety of cases.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload in workers' compensation matters from inception to resolution. Work closely with a supervising shareholder to develop case strategy and provide day-to-day legal support. Attend and represent clients at depositions, hearings, and trials. Prepare and respond to written discovery requests, including interrogatories and document production. Draft updated reports to client, draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents. Collaborate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to advance cases efficiently. Maintain a high level of communication and responsiveness with clients and the firm's leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in workers' compensation, or similar areas of law. Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-tier legal representation. Must be barred in the United States.
