INSURANCE & REINSURANCE LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a talented junior Associate Attorney to join their Managed Care Team as part of their Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group in Florida. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career litigator who's interested in insurance and/or health sciences matters to work on sophisticated commercial litigation alongside an accomplished team.


Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
  • 2–4 years of substantive experience with complex commercial litigation and arbitration
  • Demonstrated interest in insurance and/or health sciences is strongly preferred
  • Managed care experience is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong public speaking ability
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance in all legal matters
  • Collaborative, collegial, and committed to professional excellence

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, and claims administrators on sophisticated managed care issues
  • Represent clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, providing support throughout the process
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Conduct legal research, develop case strategy, and support trial preparation
  • Collaborate with partners and team members on case analysis and execution

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $235,000 – $275,000, commensurate with experience
