Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable professionals to support our annual healthcare insurance re-verification season. In this short-term but high-impact role, you will ensure patients maintain accurate and active insurance coverage for their prescription drug products. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your healthcare insurance experience in a focused, project-based environment.

πŸ’‘ Hybrid-to-Remote: Training will be onsite during the first week, after which the role will transition to fully remote.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to patients to re-verify insurance details.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, payers, providers, and pharmacies.
  • Document all verification outcomes accurately in the system.
  • Collaborate with teammates to meet daily and weekly goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve patient inquiries related to re-verification.

Job Details:

  • Contract Dates: December 1st – mid-February (subject to business needs).
  • Schedule:
  • First Week (Training): December 8th – December 26th | Onsite in Dallas, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.
  • Post-Training (Remote): Beginning January 1st | Fully remote, must be flexible to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST, Mon–Fri.
  • Lunch: 1 hour, unpaid.
  • Location: Must reside within 50 miles of Dallas, TX for first-week onsite requirement.
  • Time Off: No time off permitted during the contract (1 pre-planned appointment may be accommodated with advance notice).

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Benefit Verification / Benefit Investigation experience.
  • Strong understanding of insurance concepts (EOB, deductibles, claims, payer portals).
  • High school diploma or GED (verification required).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of Pharmacy PBM / HUB services.
  • Call center experience.
