Job Title: Intake Scheduling Specialist – Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC)
Location: Brooklyn, NY
We are seeking a dedicated Intake Scheduling Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is focused on supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive seamless access to care through managed long-term care services.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage referrals with accuracy and timeliness.
- Explain program benefits and services to potential enrollees and their families.
- Coordinate with the Entitlement department regarding Medicaid issues and follow-up resolutions.
- Schedule RN visits and provide timely updates to referral sources.
- Ensure proper and accurate data entry, including demographic updates.
- Provide administrative support to the Intake/Outreach department as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of recent work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Bilingual Russian required.
