Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends or holidays (some flexibility depending on case load)

Position Overview:

A high-volume pain management surgery center is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing team during the temporary absence of the current DON. This role requires a strong clinical leader who can manage operations, mentor staff, and collaborate closely with the facility administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all nursing operations.
• Ensure high-quality patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of approximately 20 direct reports.
• Collaborate with the CEO/Facility Administrator to optimize workflow and operational efficiency.
• Support clinical staff in maintaining best practices, patient safety, and documentation standards.
• Proactively address challenges in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Delaware
• BSN required
• BLS & ACLS certification
• 10+ years of strong nursing leadership experience
• Basic understanding of Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with clinical teams
• Experienced, proactive, and a team-oriented approach

Compensation:

• $140,000 – $160,000 annually (negotiable)
