Intern - Accounting at HellermannTyton

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Controller, the Intern - Accounting is responsible for assisting the department with accounting projects such as the sales tax audit, AP Improvement Project and fixed asset audits.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the month-end closing process, analysis and preparing journal entries
• Maintain monthly account analysis and reconciliations
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting book

Other Functions:

• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis
• Assist in AR and AP processing
• Assist in new item set-up and cost maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Above average verbal and written communication skills.
• 2 years of college level classes and actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Computer proficient including Windows based software
• Hours of availability from 8:00 until 4:30
