Job Description

Internal Medicine physician employment in Washington : MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as a Medical Officer in the Internal Medicine Clinic, responsible for the examination, diagnosis and treatment of the full range of outpatients seen in the clinic. - Examine patients, orders and evaluates the full range of radiology and laboratory tests, makes diagnosis and prescribes appropriate treatment to include drugs, inoculations, nursing and dietary care. - May supervise, teach and provide consultation to other health care providers (nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, medical students and interns). - Evaluate and treat patients with multiple complicated problems who were screened and referred for follow-up.
