Nexeo HR is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to support a high-tech data center facility near USA Parkway in Sparks, NV. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate inventory levels, efficient material flow, and precise documentation of IT hardware, servers, and electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations to maintain 100% stock accuracy.
• Receive, verify, and label IT hardware, servers, and electronic components in accordance with data center procedures.
• Track and update material movement using WMS, SAP, or similar inventory systems, ensuring all data is documented accurately.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies by collaborating with logistics and leadership teams.
• Assist with inbound and outbound inventory processing, ensuring documentation matches shipment records.
• Maintain organized storage areas compliant with safety, security, and data center standards.
• Support cross-functional departments, including shipping/receiving, builds, and RMA, as needed.
• Follow all data center SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for inventory accuracy and process compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, data center operations, or similar is required.
• Experience handling computer hardware, electronics, server racks, or IT components is a plus.
• Proficient with inventory tracking systems (WMS, SAP, ERP) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and perform team lifts when required.
• Reliable attendance, professional communication, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass a 10-year national background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Pay

$25.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Full-Time | Day Shift | 6:30am – 3:30pm | Monday - Friday

*Must be willing and available to work OT hours as needed.
