Job Description
Primary Function
Responsible for engaging with the public and representing the City of Waukesha and the Waukesha JanBoree as an event mascot.
Recreation Assistant - JanBoree Mascot, 16years+
Hourly Rate: $14
Shifts (approximately):
- Friday, 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm
- Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
Waukesha JanBoree, January 16, 17, 23, 24, 2026.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Assume the persona of the mascot character and convey emotions, energy, and enthusiasm through exaggerated movements, gestures, and body language.
- Interact with the public to entertain and engage during event.
- Pose for photos.
Position Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be pleasant and willing to engage with the public wearing a costume.
