Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team and support ongoing commercial and industrial projects in the Tampa/Lakeland area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, with proven experience working in industrial and large commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ensure work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.
Work with conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, switchgear, and motor controls.
Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades to ensure project success.
Follow and promote strict safety standards on all job sites.
Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Florida preferred, reciprocal accepted).
Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in commercial or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industrial safety protocols.
Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting motor controls, transformers, and high/low voltage systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
