Journeyman Electrician at Summit Skilled Solutions / MCM

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Commercial Electricians for projects all over the East side of Cleveland starting asap. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years experience doing commercial installs.

Commercial Electrician Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Under supervision of Foremen and Project Managers, they also ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Other duties may include:
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
• Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.

• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects.
• Fluent with EMT conduit and modest experience with rigid conduit.
• Can perform power distributions (transformers, panels, fenders, etc.).
• Able to perform large and small wire pulls with little or no supervision.
• Other additional related tasks and duties as needed.

Commercial Electrician Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience
• OSHA 10 preferred but NOT required
• MUST have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• MUST have basic hand tools for your trade and skill level
• Power tools a PLUS

Commercial Electrician Compensation

• $28-$30/hr BOE
• Weekly direct deposit
