Essential Duties & Responsibilities: · Examine and review Bill of Materials (BOMs) · Review and interpret schematics · Examine component availability and kit availability · Effectively communicate instructions to others in order to improve delivery of materials · Coordinate with buyers/vendors to expedite deliveries and resolve problems · Monitor kit shortage report and reduce production delays by follow-up on material shortages · Prepare, release, and complete work orders needed for production · Reconcile inventory variances and maintain inventory integrity Qualifications/Competencies: · Excellent decision-making skills · Ability to use an analytical approach to problem-solving · Thorough understanding of work in process (WIP), Backflush, and Kanban · Thorough understanding of the manufacturing flow and process · Understand structure and flow of multi-level manufacturing process · Understand DFT concepts · Knowledge of engineering drawings (schematics) · Ability to work effectively as part of a team · Demonstrated commitment to task to completion Education and/or Experience: · 1-2 years of experience · High school diploma required, some college preferred
