Job Description

Le Coupé is a chef-driven, scratch kitchen, fast-casual concept in Los Angeles known for our award-winning fried chicken, signature corn ribs, and cult-favorite chocolate chip cookies. We’re looking for a highly reliable, organized, and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead BOH operations, maintain consistency, and keep the kitchen running smoothly every single day.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role- perfect for someone with strong fast-casual or high-volume experience who loves building structure and leading a team.

What you will do:
Daily Kitchen Operations

  • Oversee all BOH operations during prep and service
  • ensure recipe accuracy, prep consistency, portioning, and plating standards 
  • maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health department compliance 
  • ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH 
Team Leadership 
  • train, coach, and hold BOH staff accountable 
  • create and manage prep lists and production schedules 
  • lead by example with pace, cleanliness and organization 
  • assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
Systems and Quality Control 
  • implement checklists and prep systems 
  • execute daily opening and closing procedures 
  • maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance 
  • uphold standards of quality without owners needing to be present 
Inventory and Cost Management
  • conduct daily inventory 
  • manage ordering and vendor relationships 
  • reduce waste and help control food costs 
  • track prep yields and production

Who you are:
Experienced
: 2+ years in a high volume, scratch kitchen leadership role 
Organized and Disciplined: You thrive on systems, structure, and consistency
Hands-On: You lead from the line, not from the sidelines- this is not a clipboard job, you must enjoy cooking!
Clean and Precise:  Sanitation and quality matter to you 
Calm Under Pressure: you keep the kitchen moving, even when its busy 
Team Focused: You know how to coach, train, and build respect 
Growth minded: you want to built and improve systems, not just keep the lights on 

*must have managers food handler certification*

Schedule: 
  • Full time
  • availability on weekends required
  • 10 hour work days 
Compensation:
  • $70,000-$90,000 salary, based on experience 
  • bonuses based on performance (food cost, labor, consistency, etc)
  • growth opportunities (as we expand)
  • staff meals
