We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain high food quality standards, and lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency, enforce health and safety regulations, manage inventory, and maintain a positive kitchen culture.

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain high food quality standards, and lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency, enforce health and safety regulations, manage inventory, and maintain a positive kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations & Management:
- Supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks, prep workers, and dishwashers.
- Ensure food preparation meets quality, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a smooth workflow to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe).
- Oversee food preparation to minimize waste and optimize food cost control.
- Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring optimal coverage.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.
- Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment to reduce turnover.
- Ensure clear communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies while controlling food costs.
- Monitor portion control, food waste, and proper storage procedures.
- Work with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure consistent product quality.
- Track and analyze kitchen performance metrics to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with chefs and management on menu development and specials.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all dishes.
- Implement customer feedback to improve food quality and kitchen operations.
- Experience: 3+ years of kitchen management experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Certifications: Food Handler’s Certification (Manager preferred)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and scheduling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
