Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a motivated associate with 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join its nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Houston office.
Key Experience- Handling TROs, temporary injunctions, trade secret misappropriation, and noncompete litigation.
- Exposure to wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff employment litigation.
- Strong legal writing skills, with experience in discovery, motion practice, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
- Preferred experience in trial preparation (state and federal courts) and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated client relationship management and business development potential.
- Exceptional work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collegial environment.
- Excellent academic credentials required.
- To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Texas Bar.
