Schedule: Full-time, evenings & weekends required

Position Summary:
The Lead Bartender plays a key leadership role in the bar program—driving beverage quality, consistency, and guest experience. This person will be responsible for ensuring seamless bar operations, training staff, maintaining product standards, and representing the personality and energy of Neon Gardens behind the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day bar operations with focus on efficiency, service quality, and team morale

  • Create and execute cocktails in line with the restaurant’s concept and seasonal direction

  • Maintain inventory, ordering, and cost controls for spirits, beer, and wine

  • Train and mentor bartenders and barbacks on cocktail technique, service standards, and guest engagement

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service laws

  • Manage cleanliness and organization of the bar and prep areas

  • Collaborate with management and culinary leadership to develop pairings and event menus

  • Support special events, promotions, and menu rollouts

  • Uphold and elevate the overall guest experience through professionalism and hospitality

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years bartending experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or lead role

  • Strong mixology and spirits knowledge; cocktail creation experience required

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure

  • Familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred) and basic inventory management

  • Passion for hospitality and continuous improvement
