Position Summary:
The Lead Host is responsible for choreographing the member dining experience with impeccable attention to detail. As an ambassador of CORE: hospitality, the Lead Host ensures that every member interaction reflects the highest standards of warmth, professionalism, and personalization. This elevated role requires poise under pressure, superb interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional, anticipatory service.
The Specifics:
Member Experience Leadership
- Personally greet and host members and their guests with polish and discretion.
- Maintain detailed awareness of member preferences, seating, and dining habits to provide a highly personalized experience.
- Build lasting relationships with members while maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the seamless execution of daily dining room service.
- Manage all reservations, seating charts, waitlists, and table rotations to optimize flow and member satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure timing, presentation, and member expectations are flawlessly met.
- Enforce service protocols and standards consistent with the CORE: steps of service
Leadership & Team Coordination
- Work as an extension of management to support front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and sommeliers, during service periods.
- Participate in training, and ongoing mentoring of front-of-house team members.
- Foster a culture of excellence, attentiveness, and quiet confidence.
Event & VIP Coordination
- Liaise with the events team to ensure private events and club functions are executed with precision.
- Manage VIP arrivals and experiences with utmost discretion and care.
Facility Presentation
- Ensure the member facing areas are impeccably maintained at all times.
- Conduct pre-shift walkthroughs and post-service inspections to uphold luxury standards.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing high-profile clientele with discretion and poise.
- Deep knowledge of hospitality etiquette, and fine dining operations.
- Proficiency in modern reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms, Resy, OpenTable).
- Elegant, confident, and highly composed under pressure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and staff development skills.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holiday availability as needed.
