Our client is a reputable metals manufacturing company with a 40,000 sq ft cutting-edge facility in Green Bay. They are hiring for a full-time Electrician with industrial experience. Ideally this person will also manage their maintenance dept as well.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with high voltage, low voltage, and HVAC systems, and will be proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This position also requires a strong understanding and experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs). As a lead role, the successful candidate will also have supervisory responsibilities, guiding and mentoring a team of junior electricians.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the maintenance team in performing routine checks and maintenance on all electrical systems and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical systems, high voltage, low voltage, and HVAC systems.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs to ensure optimal performance.
• Use CMMS to schedule, record, and track maintenance work.
• Supervise and mentor a team of junior electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify potential areas for system improvements and implement necessary changes.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Participate in the development of maintenance strategies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial and electrical maintenance.
• Proven experience with PLCs.
• Proficiency in working with high voltage, low voltage, and HVAC systems.
• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team.
