Position Type: Full-time and Part-time available (21-35 hours per week,7-hour shifts)

Wage: $20 an hour to start (not on commission)

Requirements

• Strong command of the English language
• Ability and willingness to work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round, rain or shine
• Ability to reliably commute to fundraising sites throughout the city
• Access to a car is a bonus (we encourage team carpools!)

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fundraising management, running door-to-door campaigns, or volunteer organizations is a considerable asset
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and listening skills 
• Genuine passion for social justice, humanitarian aid, and environmental protection
• Resilience and emotional maturity able to handle rejection with positivity
• Confidence speaking with people from diverse backgrounds
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments

Overview of Job Duties

• Engage face-to-face with the public on behalf of respected non-profits
• Build rapport, listen actively, and tell compelling stories about our charity partners work
• Inspire individuals to become monthly donors
• Represent organizations dedicated to climate justice, equality, and humanitarian relief
• Participate in ongoing coaching and training to strengthen communication and leadership skills
• Work collaboratively with your team to meet daily and weekly fundraising goals
