Description:
The successful candidate will be expected to: 1) develop a nationally-recognized undergraduate and graduate online teaching program. This position will coordinate and develop fully online undergraduate and masters programs in agricultural business; 2) teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics; 3) mentor students; and 4) participate in service activities of the Department, College, University, and profession. The expected start date is January or August 1, 2026.
Qualifications:
The minimum required qualifications are a M.S. in agricultural economics or related field and preferably a PhD in agricultural economics or related field. Strong knowledge of the subject matter taught in and graduate courses as well as a proven track record in industry implementing the subject matter taught is necessary. Successful candidates must have a strong commitment to quality teaching, excellent communication skills, and desire to teach and mentor students as well as work with industry stakeholders, faculty, and staff.
