Job Description
We are seeking a Temporary Legal Assistant to support attorneys in civil litigation from December through April.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, correspondence, and maintain case files.
Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and court dates.
Organize discovery materials, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and coordinate evidence.
Serve as a point of contact for clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Conduct factual and legal research, and assist with court filings.
Required Skills:
Experience in civil litigation and knowledge of legal procedures and terminology.
Proficiency with legal software, Microsoft Office, and document management systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent required; legal assistant certification or higher education preferred.
