Responsibilities
Overview
IES Residential is currently seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Oklahoma City. We are rapidly expanding in the residential electrical market, with a central OKC location and long-term projects in place. This is a great opportunity for career-oriented individuals seeking growth, stability, and advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Ensure compliance with NEC and Oklahoma electrical codes.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine effective solutions.
Supervise apprentices and assist in their on-the-job training.
Maintain a clean and safe job site environment.
Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Current and active Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License.
4+ years of electrical installation experience.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments including heights and confined spaces.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.
Preferred
OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
Experience in residential, multifamily, or mixed-use construction projects.
This role involves work on active construction sites, including exposure to outdoor weather conditions, elevated heights, and operation of power tools and equipment.
