Boyd Electric seeks a licensed Lead Journeyman Electrician with experience performing new construction and tenant finish-out. The lead electrician will plan, install, and maintain electrical systems.
Boyd Electric is a 24-year veteran of the electrical service industry based in Rowlett, TX. The electrician will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in buildings under construction. They work closely with other tradespeople on the site, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to ensure that all the building's systems function properly once completed.

Job Description
- Active Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas (or reciprocating state)
- Active Driver’s License
- Experience with new construction and tenant finish-out in commercial and industrial applications
- Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting skills
- OSHA 30 Certification is a plus
- Experience with Electrical Control Systems
- Ability to establish yourself as a leader and direct junior electricians on the job site
- Ability to read Blueprints and Schematics
- Ability to work all conduit types (EMT, Rigid, Etc.)
- Ability to work with 3 phase systems, contactors, transfer switches, PLCs, ATS, and switch gears
- Ability to operate all lifts
